Illuminated Access Control Keypad with Proximity Reader SK-1131-SPQ

The SK-1131-SPQ Illuminated Access Control Keypad with Proximity Reader delivers professional-grade security and exceptional flexibility in a compact, single-gang form factor. Combining a built-in proximity card reader with a full-featured keypad, it operates on 12–24 VAC/VDC with auto-adjusting power to simplify installation. The system supports up to 1,000 user codes or cards across three independently programmable outputs — each with Form C relay or transistor ground options — and accommodates up to 50 visitor codes for one-time or time-limited entry (1–99 hours), as well as duress codes that silently trigger an alarm when a user is coerced into granting access. All programming is done directly from the keypad itself, with EEPROM memory ensuring no data is lost during power outages. Advanced security features include an egress input for code-free exit, an anti-tailgating door sensor input, an interlocking input for dual-keypad configurations, and a Data I/O terminal for split-series setups. The backlit keypad illuminates on button press — configurable for full or auto standby brightness — and mounts to any standard single-gang back box (surface-mount box included). With tamper detection, a keypad active/alarm jumper selector, and an expansion port for future upgrades, the SK-1131-SPQ is a scalable, future-ready access control solution built for demanding commercial and residential environments.
